## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB SEA01FA032](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/SEA01FA032), Dec 28, 2000: Hughes 369HS (N9186F), Pierce, ID, substantial damage, 2 fatal. Probable cause: While maneuvering, clearance from an object was not maintained. A tree was a factor.

## Other reports on N9186F (1)

- [Accident 19791010035499A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19791010035499A), Oct 10, 1979: Hughes 369 (N9186F), Albuquerque, NM, Substantial damage. Engine flamed out. Made hard autorotation landing. Only minor engine defects found.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
