## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT INDICATED HE MISJUDGED HIS DISTANCE FROM A FUEL TRUCK WHILE TAXIING IN A CONGESTED PART OF THE AIRPORT RESULTING IN HIS WING STRIKING THE TRUCK AND CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE. HE TAXIED ACROSS THE FIELD AND MOMENTARILY SHUT DOWN TO EXAMINE THE TIP. HE FOUND THE PLEXIGLASS COVER, ENCLOSING THE WING NAVIGATION LIGHT, WAS CRACKED WITH A SMALL PIECE MISSING. HE DETERMINED THAT THE DAMAGE WAS NOT CRITICAL FOR THE FLIGHT AND CONTINUED ON TO HIS DESTINATION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
