(-23) ON JULY 10, 2001, AT 1450 EST, TRANS WORLD EXPRESS AIRLINES FLIGHT #5291, AN EMB 145, ABORTED TAKE-OFF ON RUNWAY 28R DUE TO A FAULTY NAVIGATIONAL LIGHT. NO ASSISTANCE WAS REQUESTED AND THE AIRCRAFT TAXIED TO THE RAMP WITHOUT INCIDENT. DEFERRED PER RADIO COMMUNICATIONS. OPENED DMI #42647 AS PER MEL #33-43-00-2 CAT C. FLIGHT CONTINUED TO DESTINATION AFTER DEFERRAL. COPY OF LOG PAGE #678564 ENCLOSED. THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
