## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PIC RELATED, DURING A CHECKOUT FLIGHT WITH ANOTHER PILOT, WHICH HAD INVOLVED MANY LANDINGS, HE FORGOT TO LOWER THE LANDING GEAR PRIOR TO LANDING. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED GEAR UP. DAMAGE LIMITED TO THE PROPELLER AND BOTTOM ANTENNAS. IT WAS REPORTED THE AUTOMATIC LANDING GEAR EXTENSION SYSTEM HAD BEEN OVERRIDDEN FOR THE CHECKOUT FLIGHT. WHEN THE AIRCRAFT WAS JACKED UP, THE LANDING GEAR FELL OUT TO A NORMAL DOWN AND LOCKED POSITION. THERE WERE NO REPORTED PROBLEMS WITH THE LANDING GEAR PRIOR TO THIS INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
