## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR AND STUDENT HAD COMPLETED FIVE TAKEOFFS AND LNADINGS ON RUNWAY 28 AT THE TRUCKEE AIRPORT. ON THE SIXTH APPROACH TO LANDING, THE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR STATED THE LANDING GEAR WAS DOWN AND LOCKED (GREEN LIGHT) AND THE FLAPS WERE FULL DOWN. THE AIRCRAFT SETTLED ONTO THE CENTER LINE OF THE RUNWAY SMOOTHLY WITH NO TIPPING EITHER FORWARD OR SIDEWAYS. THE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR AND STUDENT PILOT EXITED THE AIRCRAFT WITH NO INJURIES. ON SCENE INVESTIGATION OF THIS AIRCRAFT REVEALED NO DAMAGE TO THE FLAPS, LANDING GEAR DOORS, WHEELS OR ANY RELATED SYSTEMS. THE LANDING GEAR OPERATED NORMALLY (UP AND DOWN ) WHILE THE AIRCRAFT WAS ON JACKS. THE LANDING GEAR WARNING HORN WAS FOUND TO BE INOPERATIVE AFTER THE INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
