## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) DELTA EXPRESS, FLIGHT 6189, DORNIER, DO-328-300, ABORTED TAKEOFF AT BOSTON RUNWAY 09 DUE TO A FLIGHT CONTROL DISCONNECT. AIRCRAFT TAXIED BACK TO THE RAMP. PILOT'S STATEMENT: THE PIC STATED THAT "ON TAKEOFF ROLL AT ABOUT 75 KTS THE AIRPLANE STARTED TO BUFFET WITH A STALL WARNING BELL VERY BRIEFLY SOUNDING. AT 78 KTS AN AMBER CAS ELEVATOR CONTROL DISCONNECT APPEARED. VIA OUR BRIEF WE ABORTED THE TAKEOFF AND TAXIED CLEAR OF THE RUNWAY. THE WHOLE EVENT WAS OTHERWISE ROUTINE. THE FIRST OFFICER CONTACTED ATC IN DUE TIME AND PERFORMED AN AFTER LANDING FLOW."

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
