## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT WAS ON FINAL APPROACH TO THE EASTON AIRPORT (N43) AND BECAME DISTRACTED WITH A RADIO CALL FROM AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL AND FAILED TO EXTEND THE LANDING GEAR. THE PILOT REALIZED HE DID NOT EXTEND THE LANDING GEAR AND INITIATED A GO-AROUND. THE AIRCRAFT STRUCK THE GROUND, BENDING THE PROPELLER. THE PILOT FLEW THE AIRCRAFT AROUND IN THE TRAFFIC PATTERN AND LANDED WITH NO PROBLEM OR INJURIES. THE PLANE SUFFERED PROPELLER DAMAGE AND ENGINE WAS REMOVED FOR INSPECTION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
