## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON AUGUST 7, 2001, AT APPROXIMATELY 2345 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME, BEECH K-35, N5397E, THE LH MLG COLLAPSED FOLLOWING THE LANDING ROLLOUT AT OMAHA MILLARD AIRPORT RUNWAY 12. THE PIC AND 2 PASSENGERS REPORTED NO INJURY. SUBSEQUENT INVESTIGATION DISCLOSED THAT THE LH MLG RETRACT ROD, BEECH PN 35-815125-12, FAILED WHEN THE PIC MANEUVERED FROM THE ACTIVE RUNWAY. CONDITIONS STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT THE LANDING GEAR MAY HAVE BEEN MIS-RIGGED AND PREVENTED A POSITIVE DOWNLOCK OF THE LH MLG ASSEMBLY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
