## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 08/10/2001, AT 2100 (LOCAL), A BEECHCRAFT C-23-180, N944V, OWNED AND FLOWN BY CHRISTOPHER C. GEDERS PRIVATE PILOT CERTIFICATE (458394714) MADE A HARD LANDING AT GRAND PRAIRIE AIRPORT (GPM). THERE WAS NO FLIGHT PLAN FILED, AND VFR WEATHER CONDITIONS PREVAILED. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGES, AND NONE OF THE FOUR (4) PERSONS ON BOARD WERE INJURED. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED AT GRAND PRAIRIE AIRPORT (GPM) FOR A LOCAL FLIGHT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
