THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN SHAKING BADLY AND DESCENDED QUICKLY. AN EMERGENCY LANDING WAS MADE IN A WET BEAN FIELD. THE PROPELLER MADE CONTACT WITH THE BEAN CROP. THE PILOT STATED THAT THE ENGINE WAS STILL RUNNING BUT THE PROPELLER WAS NOT TURNING AFTER LANDING. HE STATED THAT THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO A QUICK STOP AND HE SHUT THE ENGINE DOWN. HE SAID PRIOR TO THIS THE AIRCRAFT AND ENGINE WERE OPERATING NORMALLY. INVESTIGATION INDICATES THAT PILOT LANDED SHORT OF RUNWAY RESULTING IN PROPELLER, ENGINE AND LANDING GEAR DAMAGE.
