## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON APPROACH, THE PILOT PLACED THE LANDING GEAR DOWN AND THE LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR DOWN AND LOCKED LIGHT DID NOT ILLUMINATE. THE PILOT THEN USED EMERGENCY PROCEDURES TO ENSURE THE LANDING GEAR WAS SAFE TO LAND AND LANDING THE AIRCRAFT WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE TWO CREW MEMBERS AND THE FOUR PASSENGERS ON BOARD AND THE AIRCRAFT HAD NO DAMAGE. THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED. THE DOWN AND LOCKED LAMP WAS FOUND TO BE INOPERATIVE WHEN THE AIRCRAFT WAS TESTED ON THE GROUND. ALSO THE DOWN AND LOCKED MICRO SWITCH WAS FOUND TO BE OUT OF ADJUSTMENT DUE TO THE GEAR BEING BLOWN DOWN IN THE EMERGENCY PROCEDURES. THE LAMP WAS CHANGED AND THE SWITCH WAS ADJUSTED AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS JACKED AND RETRACTED. THE LANDING GEAR WAS EXTENDED AND RETRACTED APPROXIMATELY 20 TIMES WITH NO INDICATION OF A PROBLEM. THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
