## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AT 11:56L, N757KP, A CESSNA 182R, LANDED GEAR UP. THE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR STATED "AFTER BEING CLEARED FOR THE STRAIGHT IN APPROACH TO RUNWAY 17R, I ASKED MY STUDENT TO PERFORM THE BEFORE LANDING CHECKLIST. HE READ EACH ITEM AND PERFORMED ALL ITEMS WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE GEAR AND FLAP. THESE ITEMS WERE DEFERRED UNTIL WE WERE CLOSER TO THE AIRPORT. I/WE FAILED TO COME BACK TO THE CHECKLIST AND EXTEND THE GEAR BEFORE LANDING."

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
