## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE CAPTAIN REPORTED THAT, AFTER A NORMAL APPROACH AND LANDING IN BANGOR, MAINE, HE HEARD A LOUD REPORT FROM THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE AIRCRAFT AS THE AIRCRAFT SLOWED THROUGH APPROXIMATELY 90 KTS. UPON ARRIVAL AT THE GATE, THE CREW DISCOVERED THAT THE NUMBER FOUR MAIN GEAR TIRE HAD BLOWN OUT. THE CAPTAIN NOTIFIED THE COMPANY AND MADE A LOGBOOK ENTRY. ACCORDING TO THE DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS, THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT MAIN, OUTBOARD, "FLYING" GEAR DOOR. NO OTHER DAMAGE WAS REPORTED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO CREW OR PASSENGERS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
