## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON AUGUST 31, 2001, A BEECH MODEL A36, N522MK, WAS LANDING ON RUNWAY 26L AT EL PASO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT WHEN ACCORDING TO THE PRIVATE PILOT THE LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED FOLLOWING A SMOOTH LANDING AND ROLL OUT. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE WHEN IT VEERED OFF THE RUNWAY TO THE RIGHT AND CAME TO REST WITH THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR AND THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED. THE AIRCRAFT WAS PLACED ON JACKS AND THE LANDING GEAR SYSTEM WAS INSPECTED FOR OBVIOUS DEFECTS AND NONE WERE FOUND.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
