## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT REPORTED THAT HE WAS EVALUATING THE TURN AND BANK INDICATOR AS WELL AS THE AUTOPILOT SYSTEM, WHICH ACCORDING TO HIM WAS INOPERATIVE. HE HAD DEPARTED PVG AFTER TALKING TO AN AVIONICS TECH CONCERNING THIS EQUIPMENT AND WAS RETURNING TO PVG AFTER FLIGHT EVALUATION. HE LANDED ON RUNWAY 20 WITH THE GEAR UP. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST AT THE INTERSECTION OF 10 AND 28 ON THE CENTERLINE. THE GEAR HANDLE WAS FOUND IN THE "UP" POSITION. THE PILOT SAID THAT HE HEARD THE GEAR WARNING HORN JUST PRIOR TO THE PROP STRIKING THE RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
