## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE AIRCRAFT WAS ON A FLIGHT FROM SPANISH FORK, UTAH TO DELTA, UTAH. ON TURNING FINAL THE AIRSPEED WAS APPROXIMATELY 80, THROTTLE WAS AT ENGINE IDLE AND NO FLAPS. THE PILOT ESTIMATED THE HEAD WIND TO BE 15 TO 20 KTS AT 120 TO 130 DEGREES. AS THE AIRCRAFT WAS FLARING AT 20 TO 30 FEET AGL THE STALL WARNING SOUNDED. AT THIS TIME THE PILOT STATED THAT HE LOOKED AT THE WIND SOX AND IT INDICATED THAT NO WIND WAS BLOWING. THE AIRCRAFT STALLED AND HIT THE RUNWAY HARD COLLAPSING THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR, BREAKING OFF THE NOSE GEAR, AND DAMAGING THE PROPELLER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
