## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT REPORTED THAT DURING CRUISE HE NOTICED THAT THE LANDING GEAR UP LIGHT WAS NOT ON. LANDING GEAR CIRCUIT BREAKER WAS POPPED. RESETTING BREAKER AND RECYCLING LANDING GEAR DID NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM. AFTER HAND CRANKING THE EMERGENCY GEAR HANDLE 85 TURNS TO EXTEND THE LANDING GEAR, THE MECHANICAL INDICATOR DID NOT INDICATE THAT THE LANDING GEAR WAS LOCKED DOWN. THE PILOT SUSPECTED THAT THE LANDING GEAR WAS STUCK IN SOME MID-POSITION. LANDING WAS MADE WITH MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT. FURTHER INFORMATION RECEIVED BY THE FAA INSPECTOR REVEALED THAT WHEN THE AIRCRAFT WAS LIFTED FROM THE RUNWAY, THE RIGHT HAND LANDING GEAR WAS STUCK IN THE MID-POSITION AND HAD TO BE PULLED DOWN AND WIRE LOCKED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
