## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2001, AT 2000 EDT, A CESSNA CE-550, S/N 180, N219MS, OPERATED BY SYRACUSE EXECUTIVE AIR SERVICE, INC. LANDED ON RUNWAY 10 AT THE SYRACUSE HANCOCK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AND BLEW THE LEFT MAIN TIRE. THE TIRE DID NOT ROTATE ON TOUCHDOWN AND HAD A SECOND FLAT SPOT FROM A PREVIOUS EVENT. NO ARFF EQUIPMENT WAS NEEDED AND THE AIRCRAFT TAXIED TO THE RAMP WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. THE AIRCRAFT UTILIZES A CLEVELAND ANTI-LOCK SYSTEM WITHOUT TOUCHDOWN/LOCKED WHEEL PROTECTION. THE LOGBOOK DID NOT HAVE ANY PREVIOUS HISTORY OF TIRE FLAT OPERATING EVENTS. THIS INCIDENT IS CONSIDERED CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
