## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AFTER NORMAL LANDING ROLLOUT, AIRPLANE WAS SLOWING DOWN TO TAXI SPEED WITH ENGINE AT IDLE POWER WHEN NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED. VISUAL EXAMINATION BY AIRWORTHINESS INSPECTOR TEN (10) DAYS LATER, REVEALED THAT AIRCRAFT SUFFERED MINOR DAMAGE. BOTH PROP TIPS WERE BENT INWARD, LEFT WING TIP TANK AND LEADING EDGE SHOWED DAMAGE L/H INBOARD GEAR DOOR BROKE OFF, R/H INBOARD MLG DOOR DAMAGED, GASH ON BELLY. PILOT STATED THAT GEAR SAFE LIGHT WAS ON AND REMEMBERS LOOKING AT THE MECHANICAL INDICATOR FOR GEAR DOWN PRIOR TO TOUCHDOWN. EYE WITNESSES WHO OBSERVED N4593D MAKE ITS APPROACH AND LANDING, STATED THAT THE GEAR APPEARED TO BE DOWN.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
