## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PROPELLER AND COWLING OF SNJ-6, N453WA COLLIDED WITH THE TAIL OF CESSNA CE-172-R, N64AF WHILE TAXIING AT ISM SHORTLY AFTER LANDING. THE SNJ-6 HAD BEEN CLEARED TO LAND ON RUNWAY 6 AFTER THE 172, AND WAS SUBSEQUENTLY INSTRUCTED BY ISM ATCT TO EXIT THE RUNWAY ONTO TAXIWAY DELTA AND FOLLOW THE 172. WHILE TAXIING ON DELTA, THE 172 WAS INSTRUCTED BY ATC TO YIELD TO ANOTHER AIRCRAFT CROSSING ON AN INTERSECTING TAXIWAY. THE SNJ-6 RAN INTO THE TAIL OF THE STOPPED 172 SHORTLY AFTERWARD. THE SNJ-6 SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE, WHILE THE TAIL OF THE 172 SUSTAINED STRUCTURAL DAMAGE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE SNJ-6 PIC REPORTED THE FOLLOWING: HE HAD OBSERVED THE 172 CLEAR THE RUNWAY AS HE LANDED. AS HE WAS ABOUT TO TURN OFF THE RUNWAY ONTO THE TAXIWAY BEHIND THE 172, HE SAW THAT THE 172 WAS MOVING AND ERRONEOUSLY "ASSUMED" THAT IT WOULD CONTINUE TO TAXI. HE THEN TURNED ONTO THE TAXIWAY AND LOST SIGHT OF THE 172 (DUE TO THE FORWARD VISIBILITY LIMITATION OF THE SNJ-6 LANDING GEAR CONFIGURATION). THE COLLISION OCCURRED SHORTLY AFTERWARD.
