## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ TAXIED FROM THE GA RAMP TO RWY 3 VIA TAXIWAY "A" IN HIS CONVENTIONAL GEAR BIPLANE. AS BRAKES WERE APPLIED WHEN THE AIRCRAFT APPROACHED THE HOLD SHORT LINE OF THE DEPARTURE RUNWAY, THE AIRCRAFT NOSED OVER. DAMAGE WAS DONE TO THE PROP, THE ENGINE COWLING AND POSSIBLY THE ENGINE. THE WIND REPORTED AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT WAS 350 DEGREES AT 8 KNOTS. THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN A TAIL WIND TO THIS AIRCRAFT AS IT TAXIED SOUTH TO HOLD SHORT OF RUNWAY 03. MR. HUND WAS ALONE AND NOT INJURED. NO VIOLATION OF REGULATIONS WERE FOUND DURING THIS INVESTIGATION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
