## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOTS STATED THAT THE APPROACH WAS FLOWN WITH A SLIGHT TAILWIND APPROXIMATELY 10 KNOTS ABOVE VREF. THE SECOND-IN-COMMAND WAS THE PILOT FLYING. THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN AT 100 KTS APPROXIMATELY 500 TO 1000 FT. DOWN THE 5100 FT RUNWAY. THE SIC APPLIED NORMAL BRAKING AND STATED TO THE CAPTAIN THAT HE HAD NO BRAKES. THE CAPTAIN THEN ATTEMPTED TO APPLY BRAKES BUT FELT NO BRAKING ACTION. THE EMERGENCY BRAKES WERE THEN APPLIED, WHICH OVERRIDES THE ANTI-SKID SYSTEM. THE AIRCRAFT THEN ENTERED A SKID TO THE LEFT. BOTH PILOTS CONTINUED TO OPERATE THE BRAKING SYSTEM AND ATTEMPTED TO STEER THE AIRCRAFT UNTIL THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THE END OF THE RUNWAY AT APPROXIMATELY 50 KNOTS AND A 30 DEGREE YAW TO THE LEFT. ALL CREW AND PASSENGERS EXITED UNHURT. EXAMINATION OF THE TIRES AND RUNWAY INDICATE THAT THE AIRCRAFT HYDROPLANED WHEN THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED. THIS AIRCRAFT IS NOT EQUIPPED WITH REVERSE THRUSTERS. EXAMINATION OF THE AIRCRAFT REVEALED A MODERATE AMOUNT OF DAMAGE TO THE NOSE GEAR.

Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong.
