## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB IAD02LA017](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/IAD02LA017), Nov 21, 2001: Cessna 152 (N58ND), West Chester, PA, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain directional control of the airplane during landing. A factor was the crosswind.

## Other reports on N58ND (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Accident 19921206049239A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19921206049239A), Dec 6, 1992: Cessna 152 (N58ND), Alberta, VA, Substantial damage. Ran out of fuel short destination. Landed in pasture. Got avgas. Wing struck a tree trying to depart rough pasture.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
