## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON NOVEMBER 22, 2001, AT APPROXIMATELY 1500 CENTRAL STANDARD TIME, A PIPER J3-65, N1938C AND A BEECH BE-35C, N1837D HAD A GROUND COLLISION ON A TAXIWAY AT THE PARIS-COX AIRPORT, PARIS, TEXAS. EACH AIRCRAFT WAS OWNED AND OPERATED UNDER 14 CFR PART 91, RESPECTIVELY. THE PRIVATE PILOT IN EACH AIRCRAFT DID NOT RECEIVE INJURIES AND EACH AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED, AND EACH AIRCRAFT WAS A LOCAL FLIGHT ONLY. THE PIPER J3 HAD JUST LANDED AND THE BEECH WAS TAXIING FOR A LOCAL FLIGHT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB FTW02LA065](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/FTW02LA065), Nov 22, 2001: Beech BE-35C (N1837D), Paris, TX, substantial damage. Probable cause: the failure of the pilot of the other aircraft to maintain adequate visual lookout during taxi.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
