## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB FTW02LA065](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/FTW02LA065), Nov 22, 2001: Piper J3C-65 (N1938C), Paris, TX, substantial damage. Probable cause: the failure of the pilot of the other aircraft to maintain adequate visual lookout during taxi.

## Other reports on N1938C (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19880302011859I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19880302011859I), Mar 2, 1988: Piper J3C65 (N1938C), Concord, CA, Minor damage. Lost propeller and end of engine crankshaft during downwind portion of touch and go practice. Landed safely.
