## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON NOVEMBER 25, 2001, CAPT. CLINT SHILLINGFORD (ATP 580099977) WAS PARKING HIS AIRCRAFT (CESSNA N17CK) INTO THE US CUSTOMS ARRIVAL RAMP AREA AT ST. THOMAS', CYRIL E. KING AIRPORT, USVI. IN THE PROCESS, HIS AIRCRAFT RIGHT WING TIP UNDERSIDE SLIGHTLY GRAZED THE STATIC WICK ATTACHED TO THE TOP OF FALCON JET N917SB. AS PART OF THE INVESTIGATION, WRITTEN REPORTS FROM BOTH PILOTS WERE RECEIVED IN OUR FSDO AT OUR REQUEST. A REPORT FROM THE VIRGIN ISLAND PORT AUTHORITY WAS ALSO RECEIVED WHICH INCLUDED COPIES OF PHOTOGRAPHS FROM BOTH AIRCRAFT. ON DECEMBER 13, 2001, MYSELF AND FAA MAINTENANCE INSPECTOR, JOAQUIN CAMACHO, CLOSELY INSPECTED CESSNA N17CK AT THE RAMP IN ST. THOMAS. IT WAS FOUND A SLIGHT SCRATCH IN THE PAINT OF THE UNDERSIDE RIGHT WING TIP. THE AIRCRAFT WAS INSPECTED THE DAY OF THE INCIDENT BY A CERTIFIED AIRCRAFT MECHANIC. NO FURTHER ACTION IS REQUIRED AND THIS CASE IS CONSIDERED CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
