As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON JANUARY 9, 2002 AT APPROXIMATELY 1700Z TIME, A PIPER PA-23-160, REGISTRATION NUMBER N3289P, FLOWN BY MR. ANTHONY HODGE, FAA CERTIFICATED PRIVATE PILOT, DEPARTED HICKS AIRPORT (T67) ON A LOCAL PLEASURE FLIGHT. THE PILOT REPORTED THAT THE GEAR UP SAFE LIGHT FAILED TO ILLUMINATE AFTER TAKEOFF WHEN THE GEAR RETRACTION LEVER WAS ACTIVATED. THE PILOT REPORTED THAT, AFTER CYCLING THE LANDING GEAR SEVERAL TIMES, HE COULD NOT DETERMINE IF THE LANDING GEAR WAS IN A SAFE POSITION FOR LANDING, HE ELECTED TO LAND THAT AIRCRAFT AT FORT WORTH ALLIANCE AIRPORT. UPON LANDING AT THE FORT WORTH ALLIANCE AIRPORT, THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR PARTIALLY COLLAPSED, AND THE LANDING WAS COMPLETED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. INVESTIGATION OF THE LANDING GEAR SHOWED EVIDENCE OF FAILURE OF THE LANDING GEAR DRAG LINK AND ASSOCIATED HARDWARE. THE OWNER OPERATOR WILL SUBMIT A M OR D REPORT TO DOCUMENT THE FAILURE OF ASSOCIATED PARTS. THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
