THE AIRCRAFT LANDED SHORT OF THE RUNWAY ON A SECTION OF MOWED GRASS JUST PRIOR TO THE ACTUAL RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT CROSSED A DRAINAGE DITCH AND CAME TO REST IN A PLOWED FIELD. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT WING TIP. INVESTIGATION IS ONGOING. SECTIONS 21A, 21B, 21F, 21C, 21D, 21E, 32, 39, 42, AND 43 WILL BE AMENDED AS INFORMATION BECOMES AVAILABLE. (-23 AMENDMENT) THE AIRCRAFT WAS INSPECTED AND AN ENGINE RUN UP WAS COMPLETED. NO PROBLEMS WERE FOUND THAT WOULD HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THE INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
