## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) FEDERAL EXPRESS FLIGHT 1450, ENROUTE FROM MEMPHIS TO PEORIA, THE PILOT DECLARED AN EMERGENCY DUE TO HYDAULIC FAILURE. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT IN PEORIA ON RUNWAY 13 AND WAS TOWED TO THE GATE AFTER GEAR PINS WERE INSTALLED. HYDRAULIC FLUID ON THE RUNWAY HAD TO BE CLEANED. EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT WAS AT THE RUNWAY. MAINTENANCE SERVICED THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM AND RAN THE FLAPS. FOUND THE OUTBOARD FLAP HYDRAULIC MOTOR LEAKING. THE MOTOR WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED IN ACCORDANCE WITH BOEING MM -27-51-062-4. FLAPS WERE CYCLED SEVERAL TIMES AND NO LEAKS WERE NOTED. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE. THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED WITH THIS REPORT.^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
