## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT ON THE CONTROLS WAS MR. STAN ASKERN, IN THE RIGHT PILOT SEAT. MR. ASKERN WAS RECEIVING SIC TRAINING FROM MR. STEPHEN HOHL IN THE LEFT PILOT SEAT. MR. HOHL STATED THE AIRCRAFT DID NOT RESPOND TO RIGHT BRAKE OR RUDDER INPUT FROM EITHER PILOT STATION, AT THE END OF RUNWAY 16. MR. HOHL TOOK THE CONTROLS STILL WITHOUT DIRECTIONAL CONTROL AND CLOSED THE MIXTURES. THE AIRCRAFT WENT OFF THE RUNWAY, HIT A SNOW BANK WITH THE NOSE GEAR, AND TORE IT FROM THE AIRCRAFT. THE DAMAGE WAS CONFINED TO THE NOSE GEAR AND ONE BLADE ON THE RIGHT PROP. THIS INCIDENT IS CONSIDERED CLOSED WITH THIS REPORT. INCIDENT NO. ICE0120020006.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
