## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 02/04/02 CESSNA 150 N9216U DEPARTED DOUBLE EAGLE (AEG) CLIMBED TO APPROXIMATELY 700 FEET WHEN HE NOTICED THE ENGINE RUNNING SLIGHTLY ROUGH. AT WHICH TIME HE APPLIED CARBURETOR HEAT AND ADJUSTED THE MIXTURE CONTROL WHEN THE ENGINE QUIT RUNNING. THE PILOT EXECUTED AN EMERGENCY LANDING APPROXIMATELY 2 MILES WEST OF THE DEPARTURE AIRPORT. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED NO DAMAGE AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE SINGLE OCCUPANT PILOT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
