## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON FEBRUARY 7, 2002, AT APPROXIMATELY 1833 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME, N23751, A BEECH A36, WAS SUBSTANTIALLY DAMAGED WHILE LANDING ON RUNWAY 6 AT DARBY DAN AIRPORT (6I6), GALLOWAY, OHIO. THE CERTIFICATED PILOT WAS NOT INJURED. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED; A FLIGHT PLAN WAS NOT FILED FOR THE PERSONAL FLIGHT CONDUCTED UNDER 14 CFR PART 91. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED ON THE ASPHALT SURFACE OF RUNWAY 6 WITH THE LANDING GEAR IN THE UP POSITION, SKIDDING TO A STOP 570 FEET FROM THE RUNWAY THRESHOLD. THE AIRCRAFT DID NOT LEAVE THE RUNWAY ASPHALT SURFACE. IN A WRITTEN STATEMENT, THE PILOT STATED THAT HE FAILED TO LOWER THE LANDING GEAR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
