## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AIRCRAFT WAS LANDING ON RUNWAY 34 BEATTY AIRPORT, WITH THE WINDS COMING STRAIGHT DOWN THE RUNWAY AT APPROXIMATELY 5 KNOTS. THE AIRCRAFT HIT SOMEWHAT HARD ACCORDING TO THE PILOT. THE PILOT STATED THAT HIS TAIL WHEEL WAS ON THE GROUND AND HIS RUDDER CONTROL WAS USELESS AT THIS POINT. THE AIRCRAFT THEN STARTED DRIFTING TO THE RIGHT OF CENTERLINE, WHEREIN THE PILOT MADE AN IMMEDIATE CORRECTION BY APPLYING A BRAKING ACTION IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. UPON DOING SO, THE AIRCRAFT'S NOSE DIPPED ABRUPTLY AND SUBSEQUENTLY CONTINUED TO FLIP UPON IT'S BACK. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST COMPLETELY UPSIDE DOWN AND REMAINED UPON THE RUNWAY UNTIL THE PILOT WAS ABLE TO OBTAIN ASSISTANCE.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
