## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT REPORTED THAT DURING BACK-TAXI ON THE RUNWAY FOR TAKEOFF, WITH A QUARTERING TAILWIND, THE BRAKE LOCKED WHEN APPLIED. THE AIRCRAFT TURNED LEFT AND STARTED TO LEAVE THE RUNWAY. THE RIGHT GEAR STARTED TO FOLD AND THE RIGHT WING CAME TO REST ON A BERM PARALLELING THE SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. THE GEAR DID NOT FOLD ALL THE WAY AND REMAINED APPROXIMATELY 30 DEGREES EXTENDED. THE PILOT INSPECTED THE AIRCRAFT AND REPORTED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE PROP TIPS, A BROKEN DOWNLOCK, A DAMAGED GEAR ACTUATOR, AND A SHEARED RIGHT AILERON OUTER HINGE BRACKET.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
