## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) DURING LANDING PILOT HAD GUST OF WIND LIFT RT. WING AND IN THE PROCESS OF CORRECTING AIRCRAFT VEERED OFF RUNWAY 90 DEGREES AND WAS HEADED FOR A HANGAR. IN ORDER TO AVOID HITTING THE HANGAR THE PILOT TURNED SHARPLY AND GROUND LOOPED CAUSING THE TIP OF THE RT. ELEVATOR TO HIT THE CORNER OF THE HANGAR. DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT WAS CONTAINED TO THE RT. ELEVATOR TIP AND WRINKLES IN THE FABRIC SKIN WHERE THE VERTICAL STABILIZER ATTACHES TO THE FUSELAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
