## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) I SELECTED GEAR DOWN, RECEIVED INDICATION LIGHT FOR GEAR DOWN AND FELT THE AERODYNAMIC CHANGE. ON THE FLARE, I FELT THE PROPS STRIKE THE GROUND AND INITIATED A GO-AROUND WHILE ON GO-AROUND TOWER ADVISED THAT MY GEAR WAS NOT DOWN. I TRIED RECYCLING THE GEAR SWITCH AND FELT THE GEAR DROP A LITTLE FURTHER. I THEN PROCEEDED TO PERFORM THE EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION AT WHICH POINT I FELT THE GEAR FALL ALL THE WAY DOWN, REQUESTED THE TOWER TO CONFIRM THAT GEAR WAS DOWN AND LANDED THE PLANE SAFELY. THIS IS THE EVENT TO THE BEST OF MY MEMORY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
