## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT INTENDED TO PERFORM A MAINTENANCE GROUND RUN ON THE COMPANY'S AIRCRAFT. THERE WERE NO PASSENGERS ON BOARD. ADDITIONALLY, THERE WAS NO INTENT TO FLY. THE SEQUENCE OF EVENTS AREA AS FOLLOWS: AFTER STARTING THE R/H ENGINE USING A POWER CART, THE RAMP PERSON PULLED THE WHEEL CHOCKS. THE PILOT THEN TURNED HIS ATTENTION TO STARTING THE L/H ENGINE. DURING THE PROCESS OF STARTING THE LEFT ENGINE, THE AIRCRAFT STARTED ROLLING FORWARD AND THE R/H PROPELLER CONTACTED THE POWER CART. THE PILOT STATED, THAT HE DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH BRAKE PRESSURE APPLIED TO THE BRAKES TO PREVENT THE AIRCRAFT FROM ROLLING FORWARD. THERE WAS NEGLIGIBLE DAMAGE TO THE POWER CART. THE PROPELLER AND ENGINE WERE REMOVED FOR INSPECTION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
