## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT OF N1929Y INITIATED THE TAKE OFF ROLL ON MDW'S RWY 31C. THE PILOT STATED THAT AT ABOUT 60-70 KNOTS THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN WEATHERVANING TOWARD THE LEFT (INTO THE WIND). THE PILOT APPLIED OPPOSITE RUDDER AND NOSEWHEEL STEERING TO CORRECT THE LEFTWARD MOVEMENT. THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THE RUNWAY AND THE PILOT INITIATED AN ABORT. THE AIRCRAFT TRAVELLED THE INFIELD PARALLEL TO THE RWY AND CAME TO REST ON THE INTERSECTING RWY 22L. EMERGENCY PERSONNEL ARRIVED TO AID IN EVACUATING THE PASSENGERS, THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO EITHER CREW OR PASSENGERS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
