## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) N267SP ENROUTE SAVANNAH, GA., TO LINCOLN, NE., DECLARED AN EMERGENCY DUE TO MAIN HYDRAULIC FAILURE. AIRCRAFT CONTINUED ON TO LINCOLN, NE., WHER E THE CREW USED THE EMERGENCY SYSTEM TO BLOW THE GEAR DOWN, AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE FOUND THAT THERE HAD BEEN A DUAL HYDRAULIC PUMP FAILURE. THE LEFT ENGINE HYDRAULIC PUMP FAILED DUE TO A SEAL FAILURE AND PUMPED OIL OVERBOARD, THEN THE RIGHT ENGINE HYDRAULIC PUMP FAILED DUE TO LACK OF OIL. THE PUMPS ARE INTERCONNECTED AND THE LEFT PUMP DRAINED THE OIL FROM THE RIGHT PUMP.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
