## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE RIGHT LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED ON LANDING. THERE WAS A LIGHT CROSSWIND AT THE TIME, BUT EYE WITNESS ACCOUNTS SUPPORTED THE PILOT'S CLAIM THAT THE LANDING WAS OTHERWISE NORMAL. EYE WITNESSES STATED THAT AFTER THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN, THE RIGHT WING DIPPED AND THE AIRCRAFT VEERED OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. AT SOME POINT, THE LEFT MAIN TIRE WAS SCUFFED AND BLEW. THE PILOT WAS ABLE TO KEEP THE AIRCRAFT ON THE RUNWAY AND COMPLETE THE LANDING ROLL-OUT. UPON INSPECTION, THE RIGHT LANDING GEAR DOWNLOCK LINK ATTACHMENT STUD WAS FOUND BROKEN AT THE LANDING GEAR STRUT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
