## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) WHILE ATTEMPTING TO PERFORM A SOFT FIELD TAKE-OFF FROM A WET 2400 FOOT SOD STRIP, THE PILOT ALLOWED THE AIRCRAFT TO BECOME PREMATURELY AIRBORNE, STALL AND BOUNCE. THE POWER APPLICATION WAS CONTINUED AND THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED TWO MORE TIMES BEFORE FINAL IMPACT. THE NOSE GEAR WAS DAMAGED. THE PROP STRUCK THE GROUND AND THE ENGINE SUFFERED SUDDEN STOPPAGE. THE FINAL RESTING PLACE WAS APPROXIMATELY 100 YARDS PAST THE END OF THE RUNWAY. NEITHER THE PILOT OR THE TWO OTHER OCCUPANTS OF THE AIRCRAFT WERE INJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
