## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT STATED: JUST AS THE AIRCRAFT STARTED TO FLARE OVER THE RUNWAY, SOMEONE ON THE GROUND RADIOED, YOUR GEAR IS NOT DOWN. HE CHECKED THE GEAR LEVER, JUST AS THE MAIN GEAR TOUCHED DOWN. HE DECIDED THAT THE RADIO WARNING WAS NOT FOR HIS AIRCRAFT. HE CONTINUED TO LAND THE AIRCRAFT LOWERING THE NOSE OF THE AIRCRAFT. THE NOSE GEAR DID NOT EXTEND, THE PROPELLER STRUCK THE RUNWAY AND THE MAIN GEAR COLLAPSED. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MAJOR DAMAGE TO MAIN AND NOSE LANDING GEAR AREA, THE PROPELLER AND THE BELLY SKIN OF THE AIRCRAFT. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AS A RESULT OF THIS INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
