## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) STUDENT PILOT, MR. BROCK WAS PERFORMING A NORMAL TAKEOFF FROM A FIELD NORTH OF A PRIVATE LANDING STRIP, (BROCK FARM STRIP) SOUTH WEST OF BAMBRIDGE GA. THE LENGTH OF THIS FIELD IS 3,300 FEET RUNNING ON A NORTH/SOUTH AXIS. THE AIRCRAFT LIFTED OFF AT ABOUT 2000 FEET TAKEOFF ROLL HOWEVER FAILED TO CLIMB ADEQUATELY TO CLEAR A FENCE AT THE END OF THE RUNWAY. THE MAIN LANDING GEAR STRUCK THE FENCE AND CAME TO REST (UNSPECIFIED) DISTANCE FROM THE FENCE. AN AIRFRAME AND POWERPLANT MECH., A MR. BROCK, INSPECTED THE DAMAGE TO THE LANDING GEAR AND RIGHT WING TIP AND REPORTED THAT THIS DAMAGE WAS OF A "MINOR" NATURE. (THIS INFORMATION WAS PASSED ON TO "JOHN LOVEL" OF THE NTSB AS REPORTED BY FAA INSPECTOR MR. BOB YLLA.)

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
