## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON MAY 10, 2002, THE PILOT LAURA GRECO WAS REPOSITIONING FROM FORT WAYNE, INDIANA TO LAWRENCEVILLE, GEORGIA ON AN IFR FLIGHT PLAN. THE WEATHER CONDITIONS WERE CLEAR AND WIND CALM. UPON LANDING ON RUNWAY 25 JUST AFTER TOUCHDOWN AIRCRAFT SWERVED HARD TO THE RIGHT. THE AIRCRAFT ENDED UP 50 FEET OFF THE RUNWAY IN THE GRASS. MINOR DAMAGE DONE TO THE AIRCRAFT RIGHT GEAR STRUT, RIGHT PROP AND NOSE BAGGAGE COMPARTMENT. PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION INDICATE THAT A BOLT CAME LOOSE FROM THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR SCISSOR ASSEMBLY ALLOWING THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR TO PIVOT CAUSING LOSS OF DIRECTIONAL CONTROL ON TOUCH DOWN.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
