## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AIRCRAFT LOST DIRECTIONAL CONTROL AND DEPARTED THE RUNWAY ON LANDING ROLLOUT ABOUT 2/3 DISTANCE DOWN A 10,000' RUNWAY. PILOT STATED AFTER AIRCRAFT SPEED BLED OFF TO 80 KNOTS BOTH POWER LEVERS WERE PLACED TO BETA AND AIRCRAFT SLOWED TO 40 KNOTS AND POWER LEVERS WERE PLACED TO GROUND IDLE. AT THIS TIME THE AIRCRAFT MADE A HARD LEFT TURN AND CONTROL WAS UNRECOVERABLE. THE AIRCRAFT WENT OFF THE RUNWAY WHILE SLIDING SIDEWAYS, THE NOSE GEAR SHEARED OFF AND THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST APPROXIMATELY 100' OFF THE RUNWAY. BOTH ENGINES, PROPS AND GEARBOXES WERE DAMAGED ALONG WITH THE SHEARED OFF NOSE GEAR. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
