## Narrative

(-23) PILOT STATED HE WAS LANDING AT AQH AND LANDED WITH THE GEAR IN THE UP POSITION. HE STATED THAT HE IS HARD OF HEARING AND BELIEVES HE DID NOT HEAR THE GEAR WARNING HORN SOUNDING WHEN HE WAS APPROACHING THE AIRPORT. HE ALSO STATED THAT HE DID NOT HAVE ANY MECHANICAL DIFFICULTIES WITH THE AIRCRAFT PRIOR TO THIS INCIDENT. THE DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT CONSISTS OF THE PROPELLER, THE FORWARD LOWER COWL, THE FORWARD AND CENTER LOWER FUSELAGE SKINS AND THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE PILOT AND THE PASSENGER WERE NOT INJURED IN THIS INCIDENT AND THE AIRCRAFT DAMAGE IS MINOR IN NATURE. AFTER REVIEWING THE AIRCRAFT LOGBOOKS, IT APPEARS THE AIRCRAFT MAY HAVE BEEN OPERATED OUT OF ANNUAL INSPECTION FOR THE PAST TWO MONTHS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
