## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT HAD THE L/H ENG. FAIL ON T.O. FROM SDL. HE MANAGED TO TURN THE A/C 180 DEGREES AND LAND UNEVENTFULLY ON RUNWAY #3, ONLY TO HAVE THE LANDING GEARS (3) COLLAPSE ON T.DN. WITH THE L/G COLLAPSED ONLY MINOR DAMAGE OCCURRED TO THE GEAR DOORS (3), THE PROPS AND SOME UNDERSIDE SKIN OF THE FUSELAGE. NO INJURY TO THE ONLY OCCUPANT, THE PILOT AND NO POSTCRASH FIRE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
