## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON LANDING THE AIRCRAFT BLEW 4 MAIN LANDING GEAR TIRES ON RUNWAY 17 AT ORLANDO AIRPORT. PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE PASSENGERS DEPLANED ON RUNWAY VIA ENTRANCE DOOR STAIRS AND BUSED TO THE TERMINAL. NO INJURIES REPORTED. THIS INSPECTOR INTERVIEWED COMAIR MAINTENANCE AND THEY DETERMINED AFTER TAKE OFF, WHEN THE LANDING GEAR LEVER IS MOVED TO UP, HYDRAULIC FLUID FROM THE LANDING GEAR RETRACTION LINE ACTS ON THE ANTI SKID BRAKE VALVE APPLYING THE BRAKES. THIS STOPS THE MAIN LANDING GEAR WHEELS SPINNING PRIOR TO THE UP AND LOCKED POSITION. COMAIR MAINTENANCE BELIEVES THIS ANTI SKID BRAKE VALVE FAILED BY FAILURE TO RELEASE BRAKES PRIOR TO LANDING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
