## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PRIOR TO TAXI FOR TAKE OFF, THE PILOT IN COMMAND (PIC) OF N240TJ, A FALCON DA-20-20, WAS NOTIFIED BY THE LINE SERVICE TECHNICIAN THAT HE HAD A HOLE IN HIS INBOARD RIGHT MAIN TIRE AND THAT IT WAS FLAT. THE PIC DID NOT INSPECT THE TIRE OR HAVE ANOTHER QUALIFIED PERSON INSPECT THE TIRE. THE PIC TAXIED TO THE RUNWAY FOR TAKE OFF. THE PIC ABORTED THE TAKE OFF AFTER THE OUTBOARD MAIN TIRE FAILED DURING THE TAKE OFF ROLL PRIOR TO TAKE OFF ROTATION SPEED. FUSE PLUGS IN THE LEFT MAIN TIRES MELTED RESULTING IN FLAT LEFT MAIN INBOARD AND OUTBOARD TIRES. HYDRAULIC BRAKE FLUID WAS EVIDENT ON THE GROUND IMMEDIATELY BELOW THE LEFT MAIN GEAR BRAKE ASSEMBLY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
