## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AIRCRAT WAS TAXIING TO GATE E11 AT KMSP AIRPORT. GATE WAS UNFAMILIAR TO GROUND CREW UTILIZING THE BOEING-737-800 SERIES AIRCRAFT. AIRCRAFT LEFT WING LEADING EDGE WING SLAT CONTACTED A GROUND SERVICE VEHICLE SERVICING AN AIRCRAFT AT ADJACENT GATE (E13). GROUND MARSHALLS OBSERVED IMPEDING PROBLEM TOO LATER. MARSHALLS DID CALL FOR STOP, BUT TOO LATE. AIRCRAFT WAS PUSHED BACK WITH TUG FOLLOWING STOP AND POSITIONED AT GATE. CONTRACT MAINTENANCE WAS NOTIFIED AND MAINTENANCE PERFORMED. AIRCRAFT APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
